This is Blake
Blake's passion for floral design began at the age of 14 while creating silk flower arrangements in his grandmother's basement. What started as a creative outlet soon blossomed into a lifelong appreciation for floral artistry, home décor, and interior design.
His passion continued to grow during his time at the Gingerbread House in Danville, Virginia, where he gained valuable experience and refined his eye for timeless design. Through years of dedication, creativity, and attention to detail, Blake developed a distinctive style that combines classic elegance with welcoming, livable spaces.
In the fall of 2024, Blake and Gay Poindexter founded Twine & Teak with a shared vision of bringing exceptional home décor, floral design, and unique gifts to the Roxboro community. Since its opening, Twine & Teak has become a premier destination for home décor in Roxboro, North Carolina, known for its thoughtfully curated collections, beautiful floral arrangements, and commitment to helping customers create spaces they love.
